Don’t forget..Christmas in July!

Tuesday, June 16th, 2009

Christmas in July:  It might be hot outside, but it’s Christmas at Camp Hope!  Come take a tag off our Christmas tree on Sunday, June 28 and Sunday, July 5.  We need individually-wrapped snacks, boy’s clothes, gift cards or you can sponsor a camper for Camp Hope.  Please drop-off your donations BY July 9 in the Camp Hope donation boxes located in Mt. Bethel’s staff mailroom.  Thank you for your help in making our 10th anniversary EXTRA special for our campers!

Christmas in July

Tuesday, June 2nd, 2009

Sounds weird we know, but, for a Camp Hope Camper, it means being able to enjoy camp to the fullest! Sadly, most of our kids show up to camp with only the clothes on their backs for the entire week! Unimaginable, isn’t it, for us East Cobbers!?

So, you can help in one or both of TWO WAYS, 1) Purchase a $15.00 to $25.00 gift certificate (or more if you can!) to either Wal-Mart or Target, bring it by the Camp Hope office, or place in the Camp Hope mail box in the staff kitchen during the month of June, OR, 2) come to our “Christmas in July” Christmas tree, which will be in the connector at the end of June, and take a “need” slip off of the tree. These “need slips” will cover everything from specific clothes and snacks to bedding and pillows.

I pray you can help us make this camp a memorable one for our kids. God Bless!
