Hawks Game

Tuesday, January 26th, 2010

On MLK Day, we took 17 of our Leadership campers to a Hawks game.  This is an annual even we do for those campers who are entering the 2nd level of Leadership, also known as Sr. LIT, or for those campers who have graduated from Sr. LIT.  After lunch at the Varsity (yum!), we watched the Atlanta Hawks play the Oklahoma City Thunder.  It was a close game…even down to the last minute, but even though the Hawks lost, the kids enjoyed hanging out with one another!

Until next time…many blessings!

Cornerstone Hawks Game!

Monday, January 26th, 2009

Last night, a group of Cornerstone campers and their families attended the Atlanta Hawks game against the Phoenix Suns.  It was such a close game – we were on the edge of our seats!!  The Hawks ended up losing by 5 points, but the game was still a lot of fun.  Everyone was amazed at how LARGE Shaquille O’neal was.  Here are some pictures from last night:

Thank you to the Atlanta Hawks for donating tickets for Camp Hope to use!

On January 11, a group of Cornerstone campers and their parents attended the Atlanta Hawks game at Philips Arena.  Despite the Hawks’ loss, it was a fun afternoon spent catching up.  Here are some of the pictures:

We will be taking another group of Cornerstone campers on Sunday, January 25th, so look for more pictures soon!
