Camp Hope Christmas Dinner Sponsors Needed: Your generous donation of $50 will purchase a Christmas dinner for a Camp Hope family. Here’s how you can help:

Please stop by the Christmas Tree (located at the top of the stairs across from the welcome and greeter station) at Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church on Sundays October 30th and November 6th to choose a family for whom you will sponsor a Christmas dinner.
Purchase a Christmas Meal at our online store.
Send a check to the Camp Hope officeat 4385 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta, GA 30068. Please make your check out to “kidz2leaders” or “Camp Hope” and write “Christmas Dinner” in the “for” line of the check.

Sponsor a Camp Hope Family for Christmas!

As the holidays approach, we have Camp Hope families who are in need of assistance with food and/or Christmas gifts. There are opportunities to sponsor meals or provide gifts for a family.

Christmas Dinner Sponsorship:Your generous donation of $50 will purchase a Christmas dinner for a Camp Hope family which will be given at the hope4christmas party. You can purchase a Christmas meal on our online store or send a check payable to kidz2leaders to 4385 Lower Roswell Road, Marietta, GA 30068 (please designate “Christmas Dinner” in the “for” line of the check.)
Family Sponsorship: We have Camp Hope families who need assistance with Christmas gifts for their children. Donate gift cards or purchase gifts for a family in need. Contact Cris Hunt if you would like to sponsor one of our families in need. This is a great project for a Sunday School class or small group!

Camp Hope 2011 Prayer Guide

Camp Hope is less than one week away! The summer staff is busy finalizing the last-minute details before heading to Rock Eagle on Friday to prepare the campground for 400 campers, counselors and volunteers. They say the “devil is in the details” so your prayers over our staff, campers, counselors and volunteers are greatly appreciated. We know that no matter how much we plan, that this camp belongs to our Heavenly Father and we want His name lifted high! Here’s how you can pray for Camp Hope 2011:

Prayers for Camp Hope – July 17-22, 2011

“For I know the plans I have for you; plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

Pray that the power of the Holy Spirit will fill the camp for the week. Bind Satan from approaching the camp.

Pray that campers and volunteers who do not know Jesus will accept Him as Lord and Savior.

Pray that campers and volunteers will know that God protects them and has great plans for their lives.

Pray that campers and volunteers who need renewal of life in Christ will repent, ask, and receive.

Pray for safety for all traveling to and from camp and for all during activities during camp.

Pray for fun for the campers, that children will have the freedom to be children.

Pray that staff and volunteers will recognize when DFCS needs to be called into a home.

Pray that additional campers will come forth to fill the camp slots available.

Pray that the attendees of the upper camp, Leadership Training Academy, will sense a higher calling for their lives.

Pray for discernment in assigning counselor and camper matches and for discernment for the staff and volunteers for the week.

Pray that each of the daily Christian themes will be engraved upon on the campers’ hearts.

Pray that $7,000 in donations will be received by camp start date to meet our Challenge Grant objective of $50,000.

Matching Grant Challenge

The Jackson Family Foundation graciously awarded kidz2leaders, inc. a $50,000 matching grant for Camp Hope 2011! The Jacksons have been a part of the kidz2leaders family for the past 3 years. They are an integral part to the success of the interns4tomorrow program and support Leadership Training Academy events and development.

Help us reach our matching goal of $50,000 for Camp Hope 2011! Contributions should be received by Camp Hope, July 16-22, 2011. Sevanada, located in Little Five Points near downtown Atlanta, is one of the Southeast‘s largest consumer-owned cooperatives providing fresh, local and organic produce and natural foods. They also work to empower the community through their outreach efforts – the Be the Change program being one of them.

Christmas in June!

Camp Hope is celebrating Christmas early this year and collecting items for Camp Hope 2010!!! You can help Camp Hope by donating snacks, $15 or $20 Wal-Mart gift cards or scholarships for campers to attend Camp Hope. Drop-off your donations in the collection boxes placed in the Mt. Bethel Main Office. Be sure to visit our table in the Narthex on Sundays June 20 and June 27 to take a tag off our Christmas tree. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase exclusive Camp Hope sunglasses for a donation of $5!

Get Your Belk’s Coupons!!

Get your coupons for the Belk’s Spring 2010 Charity Sale occurring May 1 from 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. at all Belk’s locations. This sale is offered only to customers who purchase a ticket from a participating organization like ours, for $5 each. The ticket holder receives 20-50% off throughout the store, including rarely discounted brands. Plus, the ticket holder receives $5.00 off the first purchase!

Here’s how you can purchase tickets:

Visit www.kidz2leaders.org and click on “Support” in the top right. At the bottom of the page, enter in the amount of your donation and in the box below, please list how many tickets you would like. Press continue and enter your credit card information. Once payment is received, the tickets will be available for you to pick-up from the Camp Hope office or Mt. Bethel’s main office.
Visit the Camp Hope office, located on the campus of Mt. Bethel United Methodist Church, where you can purchase and pick-up your tickets.
