Camp Hope 2010 -- July 10-16
Here's some important information about Camp Hope 2010:
- Camp Hope 2010 will be held at the Rock Eagle 4-H Center in Eatonton, GA (www.rockeagle4h.org). Directions below.
- New in 2010: Cell Phones will NOT be allowed at Camp Hope!
- All counselors must provide their own transportation to and from the camp. Once at camp you will not be allowed to drive your car.
- All counselors: plan to arrive at the Rock Eagle 4-H Center on Saturday, July 10, 2010 by 1:00 p.m. in preparation for campers' arrival on July 11, 2010.
- Cabin Leaders: plan to arrive at the Rock Eagle 4-H Center on Saturday, July 11, 2009 by 10:00 a.m.
- After the campers' departure on Friday, all volunteers are required to stay until all cabins are cleared by the Cabin Leaders. Plan to be picked-up at 11:00 a.m.
To serve as a counselor or volunteer for Camp Hope, please review the following:
RETURNING COUNSELORS:
- Return a completed Counselor Application Packet to the Camp Hope office by May 10, 2010. THIS PACKET MUST BE NOTARIZED!!
- Review and print off a copy of the Adult or Student Counselor "Keys to Success". Please bring this document to camp.
- Include a payment in the amount of $200.00, payable to Camp Hope, to cover the cost of room and board for the week (Payment plans are available. Please contact the Camp Hope office to set-up).
- Please include a copy of your Health Insurance Card
- Please complete the HIPAA Authorization form and send to your doctor. PLEASE DO NOT RETURN THIS TO OUR OFFICE!
NEW COUNSELORS
- Attend one informational training in Room B200 at Mt. Bethel UMC. Dates include May 12 6:00-8:00 p.m. or May 16 1:00-3:00. Please sign-up by calling the Camp Hope office (770-977-7751) or by e-mailing Cris Hunt at cris.hunt@kidz2leaders.org.

For your convenience, the Counselor and Child of Volunteer Packet can be filled out on-line. EVEN THOUGH YOU MAY EMAIL THE INFORMATION TO THE OFFICE, THE APPLICATION PACKET MUST STILL BE PRINTED, NOTARIZED AND RETURNED TO THE CAMP HOPE OFFICE.
