Let's talk about the facts behind parental incarceration...
➡ Nearly 200,000 children in Georgia are impacted by parental incarceration (that’s one in fourteen).
➡ Parental incarceration is one of the top ten most harmful forms of trauma a child can experience.
➡ Children of inmates are three times more likely to become justice-involved.
➡ Georgia's prison expenditures total more than $1 billion annually.
➡ Families of inmates report stigmatization, grief, and feelings of isolation.
➡ Kidz2Leaders is the ONLY organization of its kind in Georgia, forging long-term relationships with families to provide stability, opportunity, and Christian community for children with incarcerated parents.

Together, we're ending the cycle for good. 99% of our graduates are living free from incarceration. Families are writing new stories for themselves.

We're serving more children and families than ever before, and expanding into new metropolitan areas. Our end-of-year goal is to raise $400,000 so we can continue serving these families and seeing lives changed.

We had the opportunity to speak with Cris Hunt this month! Cris began her journey with K2L first as a staff member, then a volunteer, and now as a monthly donor. She and her husband, Marc, love involving their kids in their giving, and it see it as part of stewarding well what God has given them.
